Dag Otto Lauritzen kom til ensom majestet opp til m\u00e5l i det som ganske sikkert er h\u00f8yt oppe p\u00e5 listen over de aller hardeste etappene som noen gang er regissert av Tour de France.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Det er \u00e5 anta\u00a0 at Tour de France- etappen i 1987 med m\u00e5lgang oppe i skistedet Luz Ardiden i de franske Pyreneene,\u00a0m\u00e5 v\u00e6re Dag Ottos mest minnerike dag p\u00e5 sykkelsetet, og kanskje ogs\u00e5 i livet.<\/p>\n<p>Det kan ogs\u00e5 antas at etter den etappen fikk han sitt navn beseglet med en stjerne i Tour de France, og i Pyreneene. Et navn som de som fulgte Tour de France\u00a0 i de \u00e5rene ikke glemmer.\u00a0Det var ikke hvilken som helst etappe han vant.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5 vinne en fjelletappe i Tour de France er \u00e5 regne som spesielt, og ikke minst n\u00e5r det er m\u00e5lgang p\u00e5 fjelltopp. \u00c5 vinne knallharde etapper med m\u00e5lgang p\u00e5 de aller st\u00f8rste fjellene (Hors Categorie) er enda st\u00f8rre.\u00a0 Dag Otto vant en historisk\u00a0 heftig monsteretappe. Fire fjell. Hvor tre av dem er brutalt harde. Og med m\u00e5lgang p\u00e5 Luz Ardiden.<\/p>\n<p>Col d Marie Blanque. Col d`Aubisque. Col du Bord\u00e8res. Og Luz Ardiden. Dag Otto kj\u00f8rte ogs\u00e5 Luz Ardiden solo. Det er bare \u00e5 ta av seg hatten. WOW. HC. Den kan sammenlignes med Alpe d`Huez. De er begge klatringer opp til skisteder. Ca like lang, og ca like mange h\u00f8ydemeter. Ca like bratt i snitt. Og Luz Ardiden har i s\u00e5 m\u00e5te enda flere serpentinsvinger enn sin bror i Alpene.\u00a0 Det er en meget t\u00f8ff klatring i seg selv. Behagelig. S\u00e5nn skulle det v\u00e6rt hele veien mot toppen. Da hadde det v\u00e6rt en behagelig reise. Men det blir fort bratt. Det er 8-9 prosent omtrent hele veien opp derfra.<\/p>\n<p>De siste 4 km er spesielt fine, siden de g\u00e5r over tregrensen og i \u00e5pent landskap. Det er fenomenalt flott der oppe p\u00e5 en finv\u00e6rsdag. Gr\u00f8nne fjellsider kler de spisse toppene som omringer deg. Stillheten omringer deg, foruten at det klinger i bjellene fra noen sauer som beiter. Veien slynger seg i fint doserte h\u00e5rn\u00e5lsvinger oppover.
