En sv\u00e6rt fredelig etappe p\u00e5 rolige veier med lite trafikk, og idylliske omgivelser. Den startet med en rolig start p\u00e5 dagen, langs de stille og naturskj\u00f8nne veiene i Garbet dalen. Vakre Col d&#8217; Agnes ble v\u00e5r f\u00f8rste og st\u00f8rste utfordring for dagen. Etter en kort nedstigning i fjellene f\u00f8rte veien oss videre forbi det idylliske fjellvannet Etang de l&#8217; Hers . Herfra er det en kort 4km lett klatring til toppen av Port de l&#8217; Hers etterfulgt av en veldig lang nedstigning til Tarascon sur Ari\u00e8ge og lunch. S\u00e5 fulgte vi den naturskj\u00f8nne Route des Corniche med klatringen over Pas de Soulaubrine f\u00f8r vi endelig slapp oss ned til spa \/ skistedet Ax -les &#8211; Thermes.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Om Trans Pyreneene Tour<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><em>Dette er en reise p\u00e5 sykkelen gjennom Pyreneene. Fra den noe glamor\u00f8se badeferie-byen Biarritz p\u00e5 Altlanterhavskysten og over til minst like vakre Collioure p\u00e5 Middelhavskysten. 9 dager totalt varer reisen. 8 dager\/etapper p\u00e5 sykkelen. Ca 100 km hver dag, og en hviledag midt i \u2013 for restitusjonens og ferief\u00f8lelsens skyld. Rundt 2000 h\u00f8ydemeter pr dag i snitt. Ca 16 000 h\u00f8ydemeter totalt, fordelt p\u00e5 omlag 18 fjellpass, de fleste kjente pass fra Tour de France historien. En fysisk utfordring. Men f\u00f8rst og fremst f\u00e5r deltageren se og oppleve mektige franske fjell, daler og landsbyer fra sykkelsetet, nyte det franske klima og det franske kj\u00f8kken langs ruten. Temperaturen er ofte mild og god, og veiene rolige. Friske ben etter frokost og rolig tempo p\u00e5 sykkelen. Da befinner vi oss i Alus Les Bains. Det er 10,2 km og mye bratt bakke opp her, med 8,1% i snitt. N\u00e5r det er slike svinger f\u00f8r man en sterkere f\u00f8lelse av at man kommer seg oppover, enn om veien g\u00e5r i lange strekk synes jeg. Da f\u00e5r du en 4 km liten sv\u00e6rt vakker klatring i \u00e5pent landskap i de gr\u00f8nne fjellene. Er du heldig med v\u00e6ret kan dette v\u00e6re et parti som du vil huske i lang tid. De gresser ofte i de \u00e5pne partiene p\u00e5 toppene av fjell.
